Concrete Sand: A coarse sand used as mix with cement or a layer under interlocking brick and patio stones.
Bricksand (Playbox Sand) : A finer grade of sands that are used commercially for making mortar or for pipe bedding. These sands can also be used for sweeping between interlocking brick, filling sand boxes, volleyball courts or as a bedding around play structures.
Crushed Gravels
Granular 'A': 3/4" down to fines that can be used for driveways & is an excellent base material for interlocking brick and patio stones.
Granular 'B': Granular sub-base which acts as the primary foundation for pavement structure. Consists of sand and fines down to 100mm stone.
Dust & Chips: 1/4" stone chips down to fines that is excellent for under interlocking brick and patio stones. "Natural Screenings"
Clear Gravel Stones
1"-11/2" Drain Stone:
HL8 Stone (SS): (3/4" down to 3/8")
3/8" Pea Stone: Consists of small 3/8" round smooth stones, commonly used for pea gravel walkways and gardens
3/8" Chips (stone):
These materials have a multitude of applications from septic beds, to roofing stone, to being a bedding for poured concrete but are generally used in areas where drainage is required.
